This four-day deep dive course is a continuation of the one-day intensive microscopy course, designed for those who want to take their understanding of the soil food web to the next level. Building upon the skills and knowledge gained in the one-day intensive, participants will have the opportunity to apply their newfound expertise in a hands-on and practical setting. With experienced instructors providing supervision and guidance, participants will spend four days observing as many soil and compost samples as possible, gaining confidence in their ability to use a trinocular compound microscope to recognize and quantify various microscopic organisms including bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes. This deep dive will provide a unique and in-depth learning experience that is not to be missed.
